Tata Nexon SUV crosses 1.50 lakh production mark

Date:

Tata Nexon SUV, the first GNCAP 5-star rated car in India has crossed the production milestone of 1.50 lakh units. The automaker has rolled out the particular unit of the SUV from its Ranjangaon plant.

Tata Motors hit the 50,000 units milestone back in September 2018, and 1 lakh units mark in September 2019. To reach another 50,000 units, the homegrown automaker took slightly more time than a year.

As Tata Motors says, sales of the BS-VI powered Nexon SUV has soared to all time high. Tata Nexon comes as one of the bestselling models in the Indian market, despite high competition in its segment that also houses the models like Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Ford EcoSport, Kia Sonet, Toyota Urban Cruiser etc.

To celebrate this occasion, Tata Motors has announced that it will be running a contest under the #Nexlevel150K campaign on social media to celebrate every customer’s journey with their Nexon SUV. Best entries will stand a chance to meet KL Rahul, Vice Captain of the Indian Cricket Team and the brand ambassador of Tata Nexon, along with a cash prize of Rs 1.50 lakh.
